Capture your own or a loved ones finger print in precious metal for an everlasting heirloom that you can wear always.
These are divine and so personal. The print is subtle and gorgeous.
Process:
These charms are available in sterling silver or 9ct yellow gold. If you wish to have a chain these are available also. Please refer to the drop down menu for all options.
The first step in making your charm is a finger print impression which I obtain via a wax imprint. This is taken personally in a short studio appointment. I am also able to send you a ‘finger print kit’ to obtain the impressions yourself!
The wax form is then transformed to metal and made into a charm.
These prices are for a finished free form charm of approximately 10 – 12mm diameter / 2 – 4g in sterling silver and 10mm / 2g in 9ct yellow gold. No two will be exactly the same, the shape is imperfect and all vary in size a little.
If you wish to have a larger (therefore heavier) charm made this can be discussed during your studio appointment or when you receive your imprint kit. You are completely free to create several wax imprints of varying shapes and sizes, if I think they will go over the weight included in the price I’ll quote you prior to casting in fine metal for how much it will be to upgrade your order. The upgrade can be paid direct upon completion. Please note that if you create a heavier charm you may also require a thicker chain to support it, again I will be in touch to discuss this and upgrade your order if you so wish.
I also have a couple of options for the rings that will be attached at the top of the charm: small jump rings that can vary in size or a larger fixed V loop. Again this can be discussed prior to completion!
The piece is handmade and comes beautifully packaged.
To be safe, please allow 15 business days from the date I receive your wax imprint for completion of your jewellery + postage. Please mention any special requirements in the notes section of the order or via email.
