Description
Capture your beloved pet’s impression in precious metal for an everlasting heirloom ring that you can wear always.
These are divine and so personal. The print is subtle and gorgeous.
Process:
The first step in making your ring is an impression of your pet’s nose or paw which I obtain via a wax imprint. This is taken by you at home: I send you an ‘impression kit’ via post which contains all you need and detailed instructions.
If you do not know your finger size please select the “to be advised” option on the drop-down menu and then email it through to me once you know. You can also add a ring sizer kit to your order here if you require it.
The wax form is then returned to me via post, transformed to metal and made into your jewellery by me!
This price is for a finished free form ring of approximately 5-7mm width / up to 7.5g sterling silver (slightly tapered) – set with one round facetted 2.5mm gemstone in a random position on the top of the band. You have a choice of gemstones + the setting style – please refer to the drop down menu!
I can also make the ring in a larger (heavier) size, in 9 or 18ct gold and supply a chain if you wish. Please mention any extras you wish to discuss in the notes section of the order so I can quote you to upgrade your order after I receive your wax impressions. You are completely free to create several wax imprints of varying shapes and sizes, if I think they will go over the weight included in the price I’ll quote you prior to casting in fine metal for how much it will be to upgrade your order. The upgrade can be paid direct upon completion. In this case the price listed on the website serves as a deposit only.
No two will be exactly the same, the shape is imperfect and all vary in size a little.
The piece is handmade and comes beautifully packaged.
To be safe, please allow 20-30 business days from the date I receive your wax imprint for completion of your jewellery + postage.
Ideally, wax impressions need to be returned to me within 6 weeks of receipt of the kit. Impressions returned to me after this date may be subject to an order price increase due to metal cost fluctuation, which would be payable prior to item shipment. I will let you know if this is the case for yours.
Please mention any special requirements in the notes section of the order or via email.
