Description
The charm area of this necklace is made by the ancient lost wax casting method, by which it is firstly hand formed and carved in wax and embedded into a plaster mould. The wax is then melted out and replaced with precious metal……in this case lots of lovely flowy sterling silver. I used little blobs to granulate the silver which turned out pretty cute.
It’s set with an oval facetted ruby: representing power.
The pendant is threaded onto an adjustable 1.5mm cable chain, which can be worn at both 16 inches and 18 inches (around 42-45cm). The chain is made ethically in the USA. The pendant moves freely along the chain but cannot come off completely.
