Social Efforts

Benjamin And The Moon was created as a place to display and sell some of my creations. Making beautiful things brings me a lot of joy and I think if everyone is able to do what they love they are much happier, and ultimately the world is better off with happy people, right?

I hope to generate an income from doing what I love, but I would also like to give back in some way.

Therefore a percentage of profits from selected items sold will be donated to my chosen charity. I will change this from time to time so watch this space….

At present I am donating 5% of my profits on all animal themed artwork to the charity ‘Animals Australia’.

Animals Australia is Australia’s foremost national animal protection organisation, representing some 40 member societies and thousands of individual supporters. Animals Australia has an unprecedented track record in investigating and exposing animal cruelty and for conducting world-first strategic public awareness campaigns.

Some of their current campaigns include; raising awareness on factory farming in Australia, Ban Live Export, raising awareness on the gruesome puppy farming industry in Australia and Live baiting / Live Export in the Greyhound Industry.

This is a truly wonderful organisation. You can read more about the amazing work they do here:

I am also currently supporting CARAD (Centre for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees) with a donation of 5% of the profits from my pearl strands.

CARAD is a not for profit organisation who support refugees and asylum seekers in Western Australia with services such as settlement support, detention visits, advocacy, referral, welfare aid, accommodation, English lessons and education support.

CARAD is a respected agency for refugee and asylum seeker support, a recognized voice for refugee rights and advocacy, and a key partner in the education of students of a refugee background.

Predominantly a volunteer organization, CARAD is always keen for help from the community. You can read more about their fantastic work here:
